Where the CX2510H wins
- Three-point lift. 1,203 lb against 915, both measured 24 inches behind the hitch.
- Hydraulics. 11.3 gpm total against 7.0.
- Weight. 2,308 lb against 1,872.
- PTO power. 18.8 hp against 17.2.
- Engine. 100.5 cubic inches with a turbo against 77 naturally aspirated.
Where the 2025R wins
- Mowing convenience. Deere's AutoConnect drive-over deck is the best belly-mower setup in the business, on or off in under 5 minutes, and the mid-PTO is standard.
- iMatch quick-hitch compatibility out of the box.
- Resale. Green paint holds value, and we won't pretend it doesn't.
Our take
If the machine is mostly a mower with occasional loader work, the 2025R's deck system is genuinely good. For everything else, the CX2510 brings more tractor: more lift, more flow, more weight, more PTO.
One more thing worth knowing. Deere compacts use Deere's own quick-attach on the loader, so attachments keep you in their system. Ask us what the same money gets you on the CX before you sign anything.
About the measurements
- Deere doesn't publish fuel capacity or most dimensions for the 2025R in its current brochure, so those rows are blank on their side.
