Head-to-Head Comparison
KIOTI CX2510 vs Kubota B2601
The CX2510 and the B2601 are the two compacts people in this class cross-shop hardest, and for good reason. Same 24 to 25 hp neighborhood, both HST, both from brands with real dealer support.
Here's the short version. The KIOTI is the heavier, stronger-built machine. The Kubota is the tighter, handier one. Which you want depends on the work.

Where the CX2510H wins
- Weight. The CX2510 runs 2,308 lb against the B2601's 1,632 lb. That extra iron is what holds you to a hill and keeps loader work planted instead of tippy.
- Engine. 100.5 cubic inches with a turbo against 68.5 naturally aspirated. Both land in the same hp class, but the KIOTI does it with far more displacement behind it.
- Hydraulics. 11.3 gpm total against 8.3. Faster loader cycles, less waiting.
- Ground clearance. 13.4 inches against 12.8.
Where the B2601HSD wins
- Three-point lift. The B2601 picks up 1,411 lb at 24 inches behind the hitch against the CX2510's 1,203 lb.
- Turning radius. 6.9 ft against 9.0 ft, both measured with brake. In a tight barnyard, that's real.
- Mowing setup. The B2601's 2,500 rpm mid-PTO is standard. On the CX2510 the mid-PTO is optional.
- PTO power on paper. 19.5 hp against 18.8.
Our take
If the tractor's main job is mowing a manicured yard with a belly deck, the Kubota's standard mid-PTO and tighter turning make a fair case. No point pretending otherwise.
For loader work, ground engagement, and hills, we'd put the CX2510 against anything in this class. The extra weight and the extra hydraulic flow are exactly what you feel in that work. It's the tractor we recommend most at this size.
