Where the NS6010 wins
- Power. 57.7 hp gross and 48.3 PTO against 57.0 and 46.5.
- Three-point lift. 2,940 lb against 2,310, both at 24 inches behind the hitch. The gap is most of a pallet of feed.

- Turning radius. 8.9 ft against 11.0, both with brake. The MX is the handier machine in tight quarters.
- Ground clearance. 15.2 inches against 13.4.
- Kubota's engine reputation runs deep, and resale follows it.
Our take
The NS6010 carries more of everything that does work: power, lift, flow, weight. The MX5400 is the smaller-feeling machine, easier to swing around a barnyard, and some people should buy it for exactly that reason.
If you're feeding animals, running hay ground, or working a hill, we'd take the NS and not think twice. And if 60 hp is more than you need, ask about the NS5310. Call us for current offers and pricing.
Competitor specs come from each manufacturer's published spec sheets and product pages, pulled July 2026. Manufacturers change specs, so check the current sheet before you buy. Competitor brand and model names belong to their owners. We're a KIOTI and LS dealer, and this page says so up front.
